The honest read on citrus: 7 units through the same routine over 9 weeks, and the difference between a good batch and a bad one came down to batch age, not the sticker price.
The short version: citrus in Greece works if the box mod, the coil and the strength are chosen as one system. Everything below is what we measured while doing exactly that.
What a citrus box mod really costs in Greece
A citrus box mod from the discounted options in Greece costs about €2.46 per 10 ml once delivery is counted. That number decides whether the habit survives the first month, not the sticker price.
How we tested citrus in a box mod
- Pick the box mod that fits the device already on your desk, not the one on the headline page.
- Settle the draw first: mouth-to-lung or direct-to-lung, because it decides the coil and the liquid.
- Choose strength against the ceiling in Greece, which is 20 mg/mL for retail here.
- Stock depth: 7 lines held, so the shortlist does not turn into a special order.
- Child-resistant cap and tamper band on every citrus bottle shipped into Greece.
- Spare parts availability for box mod in Greece, since tanks and pods go first.
- Batch code and production date, so a citrus bottle turned in 9 weeks ago is not sold as new.
Where citrus goes wrong
- Ignoring the batch date on a box mod and discovering the listed price was for old stock.
- Matching strength to the device instead of the draw, which is why citrus tastes flat after two days.
- Buying the cheapest box mod available and repeating it because the first coil burnt.
The rules that apply here
Packaging for citrus in Greece must be child-resistant, and the batch code has to be readable without cutting the shrink wrap.
Greece applies EU TPD with a tobacco tax on e-liquids above a nominated volume. Shipping of nicotine to Greece runs through tracked freight only, which is why the quoted window is stated per order.

Frequently asked questions
Is buying in bulk actually cheaper?
Not automatically. On citrus the budget price and the premium price can sit within €2.46 per 10 ml once 3–7 business days is counted.
How much does a box mod cost per 10 ml?
On the last run in Greece: about €2.46 per 10 ml liquid plus €43 for the entry kit, before any bulk discount.
Why does citrus taste burnt?
Almost always the coil, not the liquid. On the box mod units we ran, a coil past 5 days turned the citrus blend itself harsh.
