How we tested Plain 60 ml bottle here
Plain prices move with import duty more than with brand. In Greece that means the entry option and the premium option can close to within €2.04 per 10 ml.
We run plain the same way in Greece: same 60 ml bottle, same 3 days, same coil resistance. The only variable was the coil, and that turned out to be the thing buyers get wrong.
Below is the run we did for this search: 14 units, 60 ml bottle, same room temperature, same juice rotation. Where results varied, the variation is printed rather than averaged away.
What a plain 60 ml bottle really costs in Greece
Plain in a 60 ml bottle is not the same product you see in a catalogue photo, and the price per 10 ml is where the gap shows. In Greece the liquid, the coil and the power setting all have to agree before the flavour actually lands.
How we tested plain in a 60 ml bottle
- Pick the 60 ml bottle that fits the device already on your desk, not the one on the headline page.
- Choose strength against the ceiling in Greece, which is 20 mg/mL for retail here.
- Settle the draw first: mouth-to-lung or direct-to-lung, because it decides the coil and the liquid.
- Batch code and production date, so a plain bottle turned in 3 weeks ago is not sold as new.
- Returns window and who pays return postage when a 60 ml bottle arrives sealed but wrong.
- Coil type inside the 60 ml bottle, because mesh and wire age at different rates.
- Stock depth: 14 lines held, so the shortlist does not turn into a special order.
Where plain goes wrong
- Chasing a discount on a 60 ml bottle that then needs an adapter nobody in Greece stocks.
- Skipping the spare coil, which is the single part that decides how long plain in Greece survives.
- Mixing plain with a coil rated for a different wattage, which dulls the flavour and drains liquid faster.

Frequently asked questions
Is plain legal to sell in Greece?
Greece applies EU TPD with a tobacco tax on e-liquids above a nominated volume.
What nicotine strength should plain start at?
Start at whatever Greece allows on the label. If you already smoke, drop one step; if not, half of it for a 60 ml bottle.
Why does plain taste burnt?
Almost always the coil, not the liquid. On the 60 ml bottle units we ran, a coil past 6 days turned the plain blend itself harsh.
